Another one of my pals is Tony Licuanan. Tony is another full-time recumbent commuter and he also writes articles for RCN. Tony always has a variety of projects in the works and this is his latest incarnation of a bike he calls the CAT (Clean Air Transport). The CAT originally had a suspended seat but the new version is lower and features an orange Steve Nash nosecone coupled with a white fiberglass top and back section designed by solar race car guru Dave Cloud. When the CAT is done the rear section will be enclosed with coroplast. The framing tubes are aluminum and the canopy hinges to let the pilot get in and out.

Tony is trying to look rugged and manly on his Rans Tailwind.
